The 1-st International Youth Conference on Fusion Energy

The 1-st International Youth Conference on Fusion Energy   passed on October, 9,10-th, 2010 in Daejeon, South Korea. It is planned to become traditional and spent within the limits of Conference on Fusion Energy, organized IAEA of times in two years. In conference have taken part more than forty young scientists and students from the different countries which have presented the works in oral and poster presentations. This Youth Conference will offer the great opportunity for the young generation to interact directly with internationally recognized experts in fusion research and global opinion leaders in the green energy held.  The conference is being organized around the broad theme of “Future Vision, Fusion and Green Energy. It aims to be a platform where young researchers in the fusion research community will exchange their ideas and share their vision to advance fusion theory, experiments, technology and engineering. As the IYC is open to all young scientists and engineers active in this held and with the aim that experienced scientists transfer their knowledge to the younger generation.

The grant on a trip and participation in the last conference was received from IAEA by representatives of young generation and our institute. 

Sadvakassova Aliya has presented the oral report in English with a theme "RESEARCH OF REACTOR RADIATION INFLUENCE UPON PROCESSES OF HYDROGEN ISOTOPES INTERACTION WITH MATERIALS OF THE FUSION FACILITY".

Tulubayev Yevgeniy presented the bench report with work "STUDY OF TRITIUM GENERATION AND RELEASE FROM PROSPECTIVE MATERIALS OF FUSION REACTORS’ BLANKETS".
